What to expect from My Audit Spot this year
We're back again for another year and we are ready to hit the ground running.
Each year, we produce a range of audit tools, templates, and guidance documents to help auditors, and audit teams, around the world. By providing these tools and templates, we hope to help share knowledge, create more efficient audits, and help provide 'Big 4' quality tools for a fraction of the price.
So without further ado, here are our plans for 2022 and which tools and templates we plan on releasing throughout the year.
January | Risk Management We will focus on risk management tools and templates, such as a Risk Framework. Risk Assessment template, Annual Attestation programs, and Risk Reporting decks. |
February | Data and Security We will focus on a range of both IT and Physical Security audit work programs. |
March | Finance We will focus on a range of Finance related audit work programs and key controls / annual attestation programs. |
April | Human Resources We will focus on a range of Human Resources related audit work programs and key controls / annual attestation programs. |
May | Internal Audit Awareness Month We will focus on a range of events and tools to help you celebrate Internal Audit Awareness Month and promote your audit function. |
June | Learning We will be promoting a range of training and learning templates. We also hope to secure a partnership with a training provider which members will have exclusive access to their training webinars. This is yet to be confirmed. |
July | Marketing We will focus on a range of Marketing related audit work programs and key controls / annual attestation programs. |
August | Strategy and Compliance We will focus on a range of Strategy and Compliance related audit work programs (such as business planning, ESG reporting and GDPR) and key controls / annual attestation programs. |
September | Annual Planning For both September and October, we will focus on the end to end Annual Planning process. We will be providing a range of blog posts and anticipate releasing our own Hot Topics report for 2023. |
October | |
November | Members Month This month we will ensure we have delivered any requests specifically made by members which we have not already delivered throughout the year. |
December | Internal Audit Management and Planning for 2023 We will focus on a range of templates and activities internal audit functions should have in place to ensure compliance with the Standards, and will look at strategic planning for your audit function in 2023. |
As always, if there is a specific template which you are after, you are encouraged to let us know by using this survey here. Members are encouraged to email us directly for any specific requests and we will prioritise these.
