Thanks for your question! It’s entirely up to yourself who sends out the client survey. This can be the responsibility of a specific person in the audit team, or you might have an arrangement with an outsourced party. There are no set rules. Most commonly, we see either the IA team personal assistant or most junior auditor in the team being responsible for sending out the survey. Alternatively, the person who sent the audit report may also be the person responsible for sending the survey. Use of an external agency is often expensive, and the CAE is often too busy to remember sending out surveys. I hope this helps! Cheers!
